We care about your experience on Facebook, and we want to make sure that you see the stories that matter most to you. Learn more about what kinds of posts you may see, and here are some ways you can control what you see in Feed.
Fight the spread of false news
We know that you don't want to see false news, and we don't want it on Facebook either. If you feel like you're still seeing false news, here's what you can do:
- Learn how to spot false news. Knowing what to look out for may help you make informed decisions on what to read and share.
- Mark a news story as false. Learn how to take action on stories that you think are false.
- Unfollow a person or Page. When you unfollow a person or a Page, you won't see their posts in your Feed any more.
Customise your Feed
We want to show you the stories that are most meaningful to you, but sometimes we might get it wrong. Here's what you can do to customise your Feed and make sure that you only see the stories that you want to see, when you want to see them.
- View and adjust your Feed preferences. These preferences help you control what you see on your Feed.
- Hide a story that appears in your Feed. You can hide a single post, or opt to see fewer posts from a specific person, Page or group.
- Report something. If you see something on Facebook that you think violates our Community Standards, you can report it to us.
- Use Interested or Not interested to see more of what you want and less of what you don't in Feed.
Reduce clickbait and spam in Feed
Clickbait and spam are often posts or ads with misleading headlines that may lure you to click on them in your Feed. We've made updates so that you'll see less of these kinds of posts and ads, but if you click on something that you think is spam, learn about what you can do.
